Sunand Sharma

Mr. Sunand Sharma is Country President, Alstom India and Chairman, ALSTOM Projects India Limited.  He holds a B.E. (Mech.), and is a Member of the Institution of Engineers. He has provided strategic advice to various leading global companies including Nokia Telecommunications Oy of Finland, Owens Corning Fiberglas Inc. of USA, Energy Developments Limited of Australia, Vialle Alternative Fuel Systems, Royal Cebeco Group of the Netherlands, GE Wind Energy of USA and Acciona Energia of Spain. In the ‘80s and ‘90s he led the Business Development effort of GE in India, working with teams from Aircraft Engines, Power Systems, Plastics, Medical Systems, Transportation and GE & RCA Licensing in establishing their India presence. 

He is Chairman of the Northern Region of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and a Member of various Councils and Committees of the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Indian Chamber of Commerce and of the European Business Group.
