ClimateWell is the fastest growing cleantech company in Europe

London – November 19th, 2009: ClimateWell® wins The Fastest Growing Company Award among European cleantech companies at the Cleantech Connect 2009 in London, UK. Among the judging committee were Fergus Munro from GE Infra Energy, Dr. Detlef Pohl, Partner at Siemens VC, Martin Smith, Chairman of GP Bullhound. The Cleantech Connect 2009 ceremony took place on November 18th, 2009 at the exclusive D&D London restaurant. In recent years, ClimateWell® showed the fastest growth rate among European cleantech companies, especially in the field of solar air-conditioning, also known as Solar Cooling®. The company’s technology stores solar energy in a battery using salt, which can then be used to generate either cooling or heating. Future applications of the technology were evaluated for truck cooling, ship cooling and boiler boosters.
