TITANTV MEDIA LAUNCHES TITANCAST NETWORK
New broadband content syndication platform launches at NAB2007 Broadcasters to monetize place-shifting, time-shifting and web delivery of video content
Las Vegas, NV April 16, 2007 -- TitanTV Media announced today the launch of its TitanCast Network, powered by the TitanCast Content Syndication Platform (TitanCast CSP). The TitanCast Network is a group of broadcasters, content owners and advertisers, tied together by the TitanCast CSP. Broadcasters upload local content and advertising of their choice into the TitanCast Network. Stations promote the TitanCast Player on their web sites, enabling a new model of advertising revenue and content distribution. The TitanCast Network connects content owners, national and local advertisers, and local broadcasters to viewers in real-time over the web creating a new, more powerful, interactive, and measurable way for content owners and advertisers to reach viewers.

There are already 1,000 local television stations which syndicate the TitanTV guide on their web sites. The TitanCast Player will be launched from these sites and will handle the bulk of syndicated content delivery, as well as offering place-shifting and time-shifting – two features that are fueling consumer demand for video content, including television programming, via the web. Several pilots for the TitanCast Network are planned for 2007 with such notable affiliate groups as Capitol Broadcasting and Morgan-Murphy. Several other content and advertising deals are in the works.
